The Blue Jays have signed former Los Angeles Angels relief pitcher Amir Garrett
The Blue Jays just announced that they have signed former Angeles left handed relief pitcher Amir Garrett to a minor league deal as they were in need of more left handed options.
Blue Jays are in agreement with left-handed reliever Amir Garrett, source says. It's a minor-league deal that gives the Blue Jays another lefty relief option to consider this spring.
@JohnnyGiunta_ was on this earlier today.

Suprisingly enough it was a Blue Jays fan, Johnny Giunta that broke the news as he is one of Garrett's friend and the pitcher told him last night but asked Giunta not to post the news on social media right away.
Happy for my friend @Amir_Garrett . Even though he called me last night and told me I wasn't allowed to tweet it I will let it slide. Welcome to toronto my friend
Garrett struggled last season in Los Angeles as he finished with a 5.06 ERA in 5.1 innings pitched as he spent the majority of the season in the minor but did well with the Royals in 2023 finishing with a 3.33 ERA in 24.1 innings pitched.
It will be interesting to see if he makes a good enough impression in Spring Training to lock down a spot in the Bullpen.
