Former Toronto Blue Jays player Teoscar Hernandez is currently battling in the National League Division Series against the San Diego Padres and is making Ross Atkins look foolish.
Blue Jays general manager Ross Atkins has made a ton of questionable moves during his time in Toronto but it seems to be the biggest one came in 2022 when he decided to trade
Hernandez to the Seattle Mariners instead of re-signing him as his contract was expiring.
Hernandez has been having an incredible year in Los Angeles after being voted to the All-Star game and is continuing to make Atkins look bad as he dominates in the NLDS.
Despite a 6-5 loss to the Padres last night, Hernandez stepped up to the plate in the top of the 3rd inning to hit a Grand Slam when the Dodgers were down 6-1 to bring them back into the game.

WHAT IS GOING ON????? #NLDS
When comparing the way Hernandez has played since leaving Toronto versus the Blue Jays return which was Erik Swanson and Adam Macko, it is safe to safe that the Blue Jays clearly lost this trade in a major way.
Hopefully the Blue Jays will look at bringing Hernandez back this off-season as he is set to be a free agent and loved it in Toronto but there is no guarantees since brining him back would mean that Ross Atkins would be admitting that he made a mistake in trading him.
