Shohei Ohtani has finally spoken to the media regarding recent allegations

Shohei Ohtani fianlly speaks on his friend and interpreter being fired for stealing millions while also placing bets with a bookie that is under investigation.

There has been a lot of speculation online as to if Ohtani was involved in the gambling. Ohtani's lawyer is the one that came out announcing that Ippei Mizuhara had been stealing and gambling.
This afternoon, the star pitcher for the Dodgers met with the media to discuss the invent that have taken place over the last few days. Ohtani mentioned that he has never bet on baseball or had someone place a bet on baseball.
"I never bet on baseball or any other sports, or never have asked somebody to do it on my behalf.
I have never went through a bookmaker to bet on sports."

If these allegations are true it can put Ohtani in some seriously hot water in terms of suspension.
Ohtani signed a lucrative 10 year $700 million contract with the Dodgers this summer making him the highest paid player in the MLB.
