The Blue Jays take on the Orioles at 12:35 P.M today as they have the chance to win the series against the number one team in the AL East and shock a lot of fans.
Manager John Schneider has once again decided to make a strange lineup change that will surely cause a lot of upset fans as he has put George Springer back as the lead off hitter in the lineup over Davis Schneider.
Springer has been having an awful stretch at bat lately and is having a tough time this season overall yet the Blue Jays manager seems adamant on keeping him at lead off.
Davis Schneider has been playing very well and went 3 for 4 in his last game at the number 1 spot yet today he is not even in the lineup even though he was supposed to play yesterday in the postponed game.
Springer is arguably one of the best lead of hitters of all time but is clearly not the same player anymore as he continues to age and lose speed. While he can still be a difference maker for the Blue Jays, it may be time to look at different options for lead off.
