The Toronto Blue Jays have some serious decisions to make as many of their top prospects are out of minor league options such as Ernie Clement, Hagen Danner and Tyler Heineman which means if they might be done in Toronto.

The Blue Jays have some interesting choices to make since they have quite a few players that are out of minor league options and if they are not put on the 40 man roster this season, they will need to place them on waivers before sending them down to Triple-A.

The Blue Jays need to make some crucial decisions regarding players without any minor league options left

Ernie Clement is one player that is out of minor league options but after his break out season last year, he will likely find a spot on the 40 man roster even though they might look into trading him if they end up signing a first or third baseman in free agency.
Clement is a part of the Blue Jays' wild infield logjam, but he's not going to be sent packing. He proved in 2024 that he can provide value in a number of different ways, so he'll be an important roster piece in 2025. -Treuden

One prospect that the Blue Jays need to figure out what they are doing with is pitcher Hagen Danner a great year in 2024 with a 3.15 ERA in 35.1 innings and could possibly make the roster but that depends on how many pitchers they add this off-season.
As of right at this moment, Danner has a strong case for cracking the 2025 Opening Day roster, but that's if the Blue Jays don't add any outside pieces this winter. -Treuden

Tyler Heineman is another player out of minor league options but Atkins has stated that he will not be adding a catcher this off-season which means Heineman's spot should be secured since they have no other options.
Atkins is apparently comfortable with an Alejandro Kirk-Tyler Heineman pairing behind the plate entering '25, but he shouldn't be. Kirk put together a strong second-half showing in 2024 once Danny Jansen was traded, so he should be good to go. Heineman, on the other hand, went 1-for-10 in five games after the Blue Jays acquired him yet again. -Treuden

Leo Jimenez showed a ton of potential in 2024 but and should technically make the team next season but with the current infielder logjam and the possibility of another infielder coming in free agency, Jimenez might end up being moved.
