Manager John Schneider speaks on Guerrero's future at 3B
In yesterday's win against the Pirates, the Blue Jays made a surprising move putting Vladimir Guerrero at third base for the first time since 2019.
Following the win, manager John Schneider spoke to the media about the change stating that Guerrero will not be the new third baseman but there is a good chance he will be at 3B every now and then in the future.
Blue Jays manager John Schneider says Vladimir Guerrero Jr. playing 3B is «not a position change by any means» but he could play there perhaps «a couple days out of a week and a half» to get the most out of other guys on the roster (Vogelbach or a catcher DHing for example)
While most thought prior to the game this would be a huge mistake, Guerrero played extremely well at third and made some key plays in the Blue Jays win.
