Fans have been quite vocal about their displeasure toward manager John Schneider and GM Ross Atkins that it has made it's way back to Atkins.
Prior to the game against the Pirates, Atkins spoke to the media saying that he is not considering changing managers and believes that Schneider has been exceptional for the Jays. The Blue Jays GM added that he sees Schneider as part of the solution and not the problem.
Ross Atkins told us he is not considering a managerial change and believes that John Schneider has been "incredible" and part of the solution, not the problem. #BlueJays
This interview came as a shock to most fans since Schneider has made countless mistakes as the Blue Jays manager and has yet to lead them to a playoff series win let alone a championship.
It will be interesting to see if ownership believes otherwise and decide to make some changes despite of Atkins' beliefs.
