Blue Jays fans are convinced that manager John Schneider is trying to get himself fired after he makes 2 idiotic decisions in last nights game against the Cleveland Guardians.

The Blue Jays struggled badly again on offense, they had only 3 hits, 2 of which came from Ernie Clement, who had a pair of doubles in the loss. This is a perfect segue to the first of the 2 awful decisions by Schneider.
Also swapped out Clement, (the only guy who was getting hits) for Horowitz in the 8th... it's baffling.
In the 8th inning, John Schneider decided to replace the only offensive producer in the game and gave Spencer Horwitz a pinch hit opportunity. He ended up having a weak pop out to center. Fans are furious at the Jays manager for taking out the player that got the teams 2 of the 3 hits. It literally makes no sense.
Schneider just PH Kirk for Varsho with in a crucial spot in the 8th. Why? Hentges is LHP

vs LHP in 2024:
Varsho .273 BA, .783 OPS
Kirk .161 BA, .472 OPS

What a goddamn stupid move by Schneider!!! Damn slave to matchup analytics! Can't wait until he and Atkins are both gone!
In the same inning, Schneider made another ridiculous call and decided to replace Varsho for Kirk, who is the worst hitter off LHP on the team...
Fans really don't know what to do anymore as these moves are looking like Schneider is trying to get himself fired, what is going on in his head when he makes these calls!?
