Information has finally been announced on how the Toronto Blue Jays meeting with Juan Soto went

Many fans and insiders believe that Soto might be using the Blue Jays as a stepping stone to set his price for the teams he is truly interested in, much like Shohei Ohtani did last off-season but it looks like that might not be the case.

The Blue Jays were the first team to meet with Soto in free agency and it looks like they made quite the impression on him during the meeting.

According to MLB insider Jon Heyman, the Blue Jays and the Red Sox truly impressed Soto at their meeting but he did not announce the factors as to why he believes things went so well.

According to certain reports, the Red Sox brought in legend David Ortiz to the meeting but there has been no confirmation on if the Blue Jays had Vladimir Guerrero Jr there since they are close friends.

While most believe that the New York Mets are still the front runners to land Soto this off-season, there is a chance that these meetings might have changed certain things around.

The exact number and term the Blue Jays are willing to offer Soto has yet to be announced but it is believed to be over $600 million.
