Former Toronto Blue Jays relief pitcher Emmanuel Ramirez is officially done in the MLB as he has signed to play in the NPB in Japan next season.

The former Blue Jays pitcher spent the 2024 season split between the Miami Marlins and Blue Jays before being released at the beginning of the off-season by Toronto which made him once again a free agent.

Ramirez had a tough season in 2024 as he started off in Miami but was designated for assignment in September when the Blue Jays claimed him and sent him to Triple-A but after only 5 starts, he was released once again in November.

There is always a chance that if Ramirez does well in Japan he could see a chance to come back to the MLB but with his numbers last year, it will be tough to get back.
Despite the news of the signing, there has been no information on how long the contract is or for how much money.
