The Blue Jays traded reliever Nate Pearson to the Cubs at the deadline and despite a rough start in Chicago, he took art of history last night.
The Cubs took on the Pirates last night in a 12-0 win in which Shota Imanaga, Nate Pearson and Porter Hodge for the second combined no hitter in Cubs history.

history!
While Imanaga did most of the work as he pitched for 7 innings, Pearson played his role going in for 1 innings no allowing a single hit.
This might be the game Pearson needed to turn his season around despite there only being a month left.
