Blue Jays fans and Chris Bassitt share frustration over the struggling offense, and in which the pitcher had some choice words for schedule makers.

Blue Jays fans are frustrated. So is Chris Bassitt. And this offence is even worse than last year
After a strong start against the Kansas City Royals where he left them hitless up until the 6th inning, Bassitt gave up a weak contact hit to Kyle Isbel. With a proceeding bunt that allowed Isbel to reach third, the wheels started to come off from there.
They Jays ultimately lost the game 6-1 where the offense couldn't get anything going to back up the impressive performance of Bassitt. He was clearly frustrated and insinuated that the offense needs to be better.
"I think I made truly one bad pitch all day, Pasquantino's double," said the 35-year-old Bassitt, who fell to 2-5. "Outside of that, I didn't make a single bad pitch."

With 1/4 of the season over aside from standout performers like, Varsho, Jansen, and Turner, the rest of the Jays hitters haven't shown much at the plate.
Bassitt suggests that aside from three games against the lowly Colorado Rockies, the schedule has played a role in the team's performance.
"No disrespect to them, because I think they can win the World Series, but Houston might be the worst team we've played so far, I've got a (5.45 ERA, Kevin Gausman's) got a five ... we've played a really hard schedule and haven't played our best, and yet we're close to .500. I think a lot can turn really fast. I just think a lot of guys are frustrated with where we're at right now."
