The Blue Jays took on the Twins yesterday and had pitcher Kevin Gausman on the mound in a disappointing 2-0 loss.

Gausman had a very solid performance for the Blue Jays giving up only 4 hits and 2 earned runs in 5.2 innings while striking out 4 batters.

Despite this solid performance, Gausman got zero help from his teammates that were not able to drive in a single run all game.
While great pitching is a must in baseball, teams cannot win games no matter how great their pitchers is if they can't score runs.
