The Blue Jays have been playing well as of lately but the season as a whole has been frustrating for the players and the fans.
Pitcher Chris Bassitt has voiced his frustrations with the season as a whole stating that it's been the worst season of his career and that he doesn't believe his teammates are frustrated enough with how the season has gone.
Bassitt, who has been straightforward and honest with his frustrations this season said, «You have a lot of so-called pissed-off veterans' in there [in the clubhouse]» and that «It's been the worst year of my career» ahead of Saturday's 7-2 win behind Berros' 16th win on a two-hitter over 7 innings. - Kime
Bassitt also added that if this was New York, the fans would be pointing the finger at the players a lot more than the GM.
While Bassitt does have a point when it comes to how the players have played this season, it seems that the organization as a whole has struggled this season and everyone is to blame for the poor season.
