The Blue Jays took on the Rays last night and were shutout for the second time in 3 games.
As the offense continues to struggle, the Blue Jays are unfortunately officially eliminated from the playoffs with the loss to the Rays.
No October baseball north of the border this year
This comes as no surprise since they have been outside a Wild Card for almost the entire season and have been battling to have a .500 record all year.
As the season comes to a close, fans can finally put this underwhelming season behind them and look towards hopefully a brighter future next season.
