The Toronto Blue Jays have big plans for next year for 2024 1st round draft pick Trey Yesavage as he is now their only player in the MLB top 100 pipeline.

Yesavage was picked by the Blue Jays with the 20th pick in the 1st round of the 2024 MLB draft and is seen by many as the steal of the draft due to his great arsenal of 3 solid pitchers which include a fastball, splitter and sinker.

This offseason ... he is prioritizing the development of a fourth pitch.
The 21-year-old Yesavage said in that article (subscription required) that he'd love to add a curveball or a maybe a cutter. He played his college ball at East Carolina and was taken with the No. 20 overall pick in the most recent draft. He did not pitch in affiliated ball after getting drafted but together quite the robust resume with the Panthers. -Farkas

The 21 year old will likely be in the Blue Jays minor league system for the next couple of years but if he continue to progress the way he did at East Carolina University, fans will likely be seeing him in Toronto sooner than expected.
The Blue Jays seem to have high hopes for Yesavage as he is one of their top prospects heading into 2025, especially with Ricky Tiedemann recovering from Tommy John Surgery.
