Blue Jays finally see some hope with Manoah surprising everyone
Blue Jays pitcher Alek Manoah was on the mound today and although many feared him being back out there, he did a lot better than expected.
Manoah finished the day pitching 7 innings while allowing 3 hits and striking out 6 batters against a very strong Twins lineup.

To much surprise, Manoah was headed into the seventh inning without giving up a single run but had his day ruined by Carlos Santana who hit a 3 run homerun in the 7th.

This may have been a rough ending for the Blue Jays pitcher but the majority of his performance was quite solid, giving fans a small glimpse of hope that he may still have power left in him.
Unfortunately, this is only 1 game and Manoah will have to show a bigger sample size before he is able to change people's thoughts on him.
