The Blue Jays have been without their top reliever Jordan Romano for the majority of the season as their bullpen have struggled without him.
The team announced yesterday that Romano will unfortunately not be back this season as he continues to rehab his elbow in Florida as he has began to pitch but will not be able to return.
Jordan Romano (elbow) won't be returning to Blue Jays this season
He's been throwing in Florida for over a week now but ran out of time to get back to the majors. He'll continue progressing to mound work heading into his off-season
This is unfortunate for the Blue Jays who has once of the worst bullpens in the MLB this season and could have benefitted from having Romano back.
