At first, the Jays seem to give Springer a lot of time to try and figure things out as he was their lead off man despite an awful start to the season up until a few weeks ago. Since then he has been batting between 5th and 6th in the order, now in their lineup against the White Sox today, Springer will be batting 7th for the first time in a Jays uniform.
Hopefully this is a huge wake up call for Springer as one of the worst OPS in the entire league with a .546 but as things have yet to change, it looks like it just might be the end of his great career.
