The Toronto Blue Jays made a major announcement yesterday as they have decided to make more major changes within the organization, firing four more coaches.
Two weeks ago the Blue Jays decided to fire two of their pitching coordinators after a disappointing season when it comes to pitching and now they have decided to part ways with four more coaches.
Buffalo's position coach Justin Echevarria, New Hampshire's position coach George Carroll, FCL's pitching coach Brendan Kelly and FCL's hitting coach Fred Landers have all been fired.
Blue Jays make more changes to system after recent dismissal of pitching co-ordinator Cory Popham.
Source tells @ArdenZwelling and me they've let go:
After all these firings, two coaches also decided not return which are hitting-lab coach Jamie Lever and Latin America coordinator Michael Rivera as they will not be returning to the organization.
As well, hitting-lab coach Jamie Lever and Latin America co-ordinator Michael Rivera are leaving the organization.
Despite some big changes across the organization, fans believe that these are not the right moves and that is should be Mark Shapiro, Ross Atkins and John Schneider that should be fired.
Shapiro and Atkins still around? Nothing will change then. #BlueJays #FireShapiro #FireAtkins
the changes they should make are to relieve shapiro, atkins and schneider of their positions....but unfortunately edward rogers is a maroon
Shapiro and Atkins should be the ones to go. @Rogers Ed Rogers, please get serious with the changes. The buck stops and starts at the top. Until they are gone nothing really changes. So disappointing @BlueJays #BlueJays
