The Blue Jays have been struggling with injuries in their pitching rotation and bullpen, now reliever Jordan Romano will be joining Alek Manoah on 15 day IL due to right elbow inflammation.
The Toronto Blue Jays have placed closer Jordan Romano on the 15-day injured list due to right elbow inflammation. Romano, from Markham, Ont., missed the first 17 games of the season with a similar elbow issue.
Romano has already missed the first 17 games of the season with an elbow injury and now will miss at least 15 days once again.
It looks like the Yimi Garcia and Chad Green will be taking the majority of the relieving roles as Romano rehabs his elbow.
