Bisons game cancelled in the 7th innings after Payton Henry is carted off
A scary scene took place last night in Buffalo as Bisons catcher was hit in the back of the head with a bat and needed to be carted off.
Henry was hit in the back of the head during the follow through of a swing, due to the severity of the situation, the game was cancelled
After getting struck in the head by the bat on the backswing, Buffalo Bisons catcher Payton Henry left on a backboard in an ambulance. He is currently being evaluated in a Syracuse area hospital according to the team on X.
The game was called in the 7th inning #BlueJays #Mets

Reports have come out that Henry is stable and responsive at the Syracuse hospital which is a positive sign right now.
The Bisons say Henry is "alert and appropriately responsive" at a Syracuse hospital undergoing evaluation.
They'll update his condition tomorrow as updates become available.
The entire Blue Jays family wishes him nothing but the best during these scary times and hopes he has a speedy recovery.
