Blue Jays GM Ross Atkins decided to trade Teoscar Hernandez for Erik Swanson and Adam Macko back in 2022 and it seems the trade has continued to haunt them.

While Swanson had a great season in 2023 for the Blue Jays, he has been a complete mess this season with a 9.22 ERA on the season and is currently in
Triple-A. All of this is happening while Hernandez is currently an al-star for the Dodgers this season and just won the homerun derby last night.
Erik Swanson for Teoscar in and of itself was a good deal but believing BRANDON BELT would replace his offensive production was a disaster in 2023. Also: Teoscar was willing to re-sign for 2024 and beyond but Atkins failed to meet his asking price.
Never forget that GM Ross Atkins traded:

Teoscar Hernandez
for
Eric Swanson (Currently a AAA reliever)

Somehow this man still has a job. The
@BlueJays
are not a serious baseball team.
Fans do not understand how Atkins still has a job as GM of the Blue Jays when this is simply only 1 of multiple terrible moves he has made throughout the years.
