It seems like nobody in baseball is talking about how bad the Boston Red Sox messed up trading Chris Sale to the Atlanta Braves for Vaugh Grissom.

As Daulton Feely noted, the trade that sent Chris Sale from the Boston Red Sox to the Braves for Vaughn Grissom could be one of the worst trades in baseball history as Sale is a Cy Young Candidate this season.
Not only is Sale a Cy Young Candidate, but he is leading the enite majors in strikeouts, ERA and wins above replacement (WAR).
All Sale has done so far in 2024:
Most K's in MLB
Lowest qualified ERA in MLB
Best FIP in MLB
Best fWAR in MLB
And potentially the NL CY Young this season
Even before Grissom went down with an injury in early July, he did not perform well in his brief stint in the majors as he has not seen MLB action since the end of June.
In 81 at-bats this season for the Red Sox this season he is only hitting .148, with 0 home runs and 12 hits. Although he is still considered a "prospect", Sale has complete changed his game around since being traded and could go down as one of the worst deals done by Boston, or the MLB for that matter.
