Yusei Kikuchi was pitching a super solid outing or the Toronto Blue Jays last night versus the Detroit Tigers before he ran into some trouble in the 6th inning.

It seems like a recurring story for Kukuchi is that he pitches a super strong 5 innings and ends up getting into real trouble in the 6th, the issue is that the Blue Jays bullpen is so bad right now that there is almost no chance for them to come in and get out of jams.
Kikuchi's final line was no indicative to how well he pitched last night, he gave up a couple hits and a walk to have the bases loaded in the 6th inning and Trevor Richards came into to try and help out, Richards gave up a grand slam where all earned runs were attributed to Kikuchi.
Yusei Kikuchi's final line after Trevor Richards allowed that grand slam:

5 IP 4 ER, 5 H, 2 BB, 8 K

Kikuchi now has a 4.54 ERA. His next start, which will likely be his last with the #BlueJays, lines up on Friday against the Rangers at home.
If his last start is this week, he will be missed in a Blue Jays uniform.
