Toronto Blue Jays Vladimir Guerrero Jr has continued to make headline regarding his upcoming free agency and this time he stated that he could end up signing a $700 million contract depending on how his season goes.
Guerrero has mentioned on multiple occasions that he does not want to be a distraction for the team but as fans have been pointing out online, he seems to be talking about his contract every chance he gets.

Guerrero recently did an interview that was posted on YouTube yesterday in which he stated that he could end up getting a contract around $700 million if he has an MVP caliber season in 2025.
The Blue Jays superstar also added that even if he has a bad year, he believes that his floor would be $500 million due to how he has played over the last few seasons.
Guerrero mentions that he believes he can make up to $700 million if he can have an MVP-type calibre season, comparable to his 2021 and 2024 years, while the slugger was quoted saying (translated), «If I have a bad year, I see my floor at $500 million.» -Shushkewich

Not only did Guerrero state that he could be worth $700 million in free agency but he also added that he is willing to listen to all teams including the New York Yankees.

For someone who claims he does not wan to be a distraction for the team, he certainly has a strange way of showing it.
