Blue Jays pitcher Alek Manoah speaks on his recovery process
The Blue Jays pitcher has been slowly getting back into game shape as he posted a few videos online showing himself working out and has now posted another video now as he has started pitching.

Manoah spoke to reporters about the process and being able to start pitching on day 168 after surgery which he compared to the same feeling he gets on Opening Day which he will likely not be ready for.
Alek Manoah is throwing the baseball for the first time since his TJ surgery. He posted this on his Instagram:
«Day 168 post surgery. Hard to describe the emotions and excitement, feels like opening day in December. Tons to be grateful for over these last 168 days and even more gratifying today to be able to do what I love the most, throw that little white ball! Thank you God»
Unfortunately the Blue Jays will likely have to wait a little while longer to get Manoah back in top shape as he is expected to only be able to play a month or two into the 2025 season.
The other issue is that the Blue Jays have been rumored to possibly be moving on from
Manoah as they have been waiting for a while for him to get back to the pitcher he once was but it does not seem to be happening.
The Blue Jays could probably still get a solid return for Manoah on a team hoping he can return to the Cy Young finalist pitcher he was back in 2022 but as time goes on, his value will go down.
Clearly the Blue Jays need to figure out their next move with Manoah quickly as his value is going down.
