LHP Adam Macko experienced some discomfort in his left knee following a side.. after an MRI, John Schneider said «Probable meniscus tear Probable surgery.» #BlueJays
Adam Macko, one of the #BlueJays' top pitching prospects, felt some discomfort in his left knee recently.
The MRI showed a «probably meniscus tear» that will likely lead to surgery, John Schneider says.
This is devastating news for Macko who is seen as one of the Blue Jays top pitcher prospects but will now miss the first few months of the season due to recovery from surgery if it goes to that point.
There is still a slight chance that he might not end up needing surgery but the likely scenario here is that he is out for the next little while.
