Good news in the bullpen: Erik Swanson will throw a sim game tomorrow, then likely move into a rehab assignment.
Let's loosely call that «a couple weeks away» if all goes well. A healthy Swanson will be a major addition to this bullpen. #BlueJays
The Blue Jays bullpen has been quite solid so far this season but adding Swanson back into the mix will definitely only help the team if he is able to put up the same numbers he from 2023.
Last season Swanson struggled finishing with a 5.03 ERA in 39.1 innings pitched but the Blue Jays are hoping that he will return to how he was pitching in 2022 when he finished with a 2.97 ERA.
