Toronto Blue Jays fans have been vocal since last season with their disappointment with how the team has been run over the last couple years which has cause a dip in ticket sales.

Fans have been wanting changes to be made within the organization for years now and they do not agree with how the team has been ran and they have finally taken matters into their own hands.

Blue Jays fans boycott the Rogers Centre as ticket sales dip

Blue Jays president Mark Shapiro spoke to the media this morning about many big topics such as Vladimir Guerrero Jr and Bo Bichette upcoming contract negotiations but also spoke on the fans.
During the interview Shapiro stated that the Blue Jays new club 328 has sold out all of their tickets but general ticket sales have dipped down since last season but stated that it is always a bit slower in April.
Asked Mark Shapiro about ticket sales going into the season.

Acknowledged single game tickets «have dipped» since last year, but April is traditionally a slow month. Fans will come to see winning product.

New Club 328 tix have sold out. There is a waitlist for premium seats.
Fans have clearly not been happy and were vocal about the fact that if things did not change over the course of the off-season they would push back by cancelling season tickets and not buying tickets for the 2025 season.
Since the Blue Jays decided to stick with Shapiro and Ross Atkins through the 2025 season fans have done what they can by not buying tickets to show ownership that they are not happy.
The only chance the Blue Jays have of turning this trend around is if they end up coming out of the gate very strong but if they do the same as last season, it will surely be quite empty this season at the Rogers Centre.
When it comes down to it, the Blue Jays are a business and the fans understand that the only way to be heard is by not paying and making them lose money.
