Anthony Santander has been away from camp sorting out his visa.
He'll be back in Dunedin tonight, go through a full day at the complex Thursday and is expected to play Friday, John Schneider says. #BlueJays
Anthony Santander has been dealing with a visa issue in the DR, but he's en route back to Blue Jays and slated to play again as soon as Friday.
This is great news for Blue Jays fans as many were getting worried with all the injuries going around at Spring Training that Santander could have possibly been hurt as well.
Out of all the pressure on the Blue Jays newest additions, Santander has the most pressure to perform as he landed the largest contact and is coming off the best season of his career in 2024 with 44 homeruns.
It will be interesting to see how Santander ends up doing in his first season with the Blue Jays.
