After two great seasons to start his career and holding the largest signing (1.4M) for a Brazilian born player at just 16 years old, he reached #5 in the prospect rankings for the Jays. In 2021, his 2nd season in the minors, he battled major injury setbacks, such as Tommy John Surgery.
Pardinho has managed to make a big comeback and is currently having the best season of his career. He has a 1.14 ERA , 0.97 WHIP, and has only given up three earned runs and 32 strikeouts in just 23.2 innings of work in Double-A.
Once a starter, he has found his groove coming out of the bullpen, and the Jays are taking notice and may call him up sooner than later.
