The Blue Jays had another brutal loss last night to the Orioles giving up 10 runs in a 10-1 loss.
Manager John Schneider spoke to the media after the game once again praising the opposing pitcher but stating that it can't always be about how great the other team's pitcher was. Schneider called out his out pitchers saying they need to be better.
John Schneider:
«Corbin Burnes is a really good pitcher, but you can't say that about everybody you face, right?»
He reiterated that #BlueJays pitchers need to limit damage, which they didn't do again tonight.
While Schneider is not wrong is saying that the Jays pitchers had a rough game yesterday, it is also hard to win games when the offense is only putting up one run regardless of how good the opposing pitcher is.
The Jays need to make some drastic changes as this series against the Orioles is proving how far behind they truly are in the AL East despite having one of the highest payrolls.
