A scary incident occured in Saturday afternoon's game between the Toronto Blue Jays and Seattle Mariners.

Blue Jays' Alan Roden slammed into Seattle's Rowdy Tellez at full speed during a play at first in Saturday's afternoon game in Toronto.

The collision occured at the bottom of the 5th when the game was all tied up at 2 a piece.
Keegan Matheson posted a video of the collision on X.

Roden was down on the field for a bit with the #BlueJays' training staff and John Schneider... but he's staying in the game.
Daniel Kramer says that Tellez delivered a dirty play by attempting to leg out an infield single. You be the judge...
Yikes moment to end the 5th inning, as Toronto's Alan Roden slams into Rowdy Tellez attempting to leg out an infield single.

He needs to be examined by their athletic training staff but appears to be OK.
The good news is that Roden was able to remain in the game after being examined by the team's athletic trainers.
Alan Roden is staying in the game after a full-speed collision with Rowdy Tellez at first base dropped him to the ground to end B5.

Relay from Collin Snider on slow roller pulled Tellez into basepath where Roden slammed into him.
Luckily Roden wasn't injured on the play, that was a close call!
