Blue Jays pitcher Jordan Romano has been their best reliever so far this season and it seems like divisional rival, the Orioles, have taken notice and want to possibly trade for him.
Romano already has 6 saves so far this season with a 4.15 ERA and 8 strikeouts through 8.1 innings pitched.
The Orioles have a great team once again this season and are interested in Romano since their best reliever Felix Bautista is out for the season and Craig Kimbrel has been struggling.
It's very easy to see why the Orioles are looking externally for help closing out games. Top closer Felix Bautista is out for the year and his replacement, Craig Kimbrel, has struggled mightily so far. Kimbrel, 35, already has three blown saves and is losing his grip as the team's primary closer. - Trueden
Normally trading to a rival in the same division is frowned upon in the MLB but being as the Blue Jays are so desperate to shake things up, they might actually go through with this.
Hopefully, if the Blue Jays do decide to make a trade, they will be able to acquire some serious talent in return since the Orioles are in a tough spot in regards to their bullpen.
