Guerrero has officially made Blue Jays history
Toronto's first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. has officially made Blue Jays history after last game against the Twins.
Vladdy is now only the third player in Blue Jays history to play in 700 games before the age of 26 with Toronto, the only two other players to do so are Moseby and Griffin. In those 700 games, Guerrero's 134 homeruns is the fifth most by any Jays player in their first 700 games.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. played in his 700th career MLB game yesterday. Only two others (Moseby-822, Griffin-733) have played that many games with #BlueJays before turning 26. Vladdy has 134 HR with Toronto, the 5th most by any player in their first 700 games with the franchise
Even though Guerrero struggled more in recent years compared to 2021, he has been stepping up his game and proving that he belongs in the top of the order.
If the Blue Jays first baseman is able to keep up his play as it has been over the last 15 games, this season will go down as one of his best ones so far in his career.
