The Toronto Blue Jays have had a quiet off-season so far with not many big time moves and legend Buck Martinez gave his opinion on the MLB Network yesterday.
The Blue Jays announced their second big league signing yesterday since the start of the off-season with former New York Mets pitcher Josh Walker who they signed to a one year deal.
Buck Martinez gives his opinion on the Blue Jays off-season so far
During an interview yesterday on the MLB Network, Martinez spoke on the Blue Jays quiet off-season but gave an interesting take on what fans should expect over the rest of the winter.
Martinez believes that the Blue Jays are far from done making deals and that it is hard to evaluate a team's off-season before the end of Spring Training as moves as made all the way up until Opening Day.
"I am not ready to close the book on the Blue Jays offseason by any means."

The Blue Jays announcer added that no one truly believed that the Blue Jays had a shot at landing Soto and praised the trade for Andres Gimenez as he believes he is an excellent player.
Clearly the Blue Jays are far from done this off-season as they still have a ton of holes to fill but fans are hoping that they don't just sign average players as they did last year and bring in at least one top tier player.
Martinez has been with the organization for decades between being a player, a coach and now an announcer so it is safe to say he knows what he is talking about and is a knowledgeable source.
Hopefully he is right in stating that the Blue Jays are far from done as their are still some very good free agents available but fans are hoping to see moves made sooner rather than later.
