Bo Bichette's time in Toronto is coming an end

Toronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette has been surrounded by trade rumors since last off-season and it looks like the Blue Jays could be interested in trading him this off season.
Bichette had a difficult year as he struggled more than usual at the plate and also dealt with a long list of injuries which kept him sidelined for a big portion of the second half of the season.
Despite Bichette's trade stock being the lowest it has been since he has been in the majors, it looks like management might still look into trading him this winter since they do not see him helping the team win next year.

The Blue Jays reportedly already shopped Bichette this season but apparently were not interested in the return offered to them. While they would like to move him, they will also take their time making the right deal instead of just taking the first one that shows up.
The Blue Jays had some largely «exploratory» trade talks involving Bo Bichette early last offseason, TSN's Scott Mitchell writes. This isn't exactly new news, as multiple reports last November indicated that the shortstop's name indeed come up in trade discussions, though those talks were portrayed as other teams checking on Bichette's availability. Mitchell, however, specifies that «the Jays did indeed shop Bichette.» -Polishuk
The Blue Jays current core is clearly not built to win and it seems like Bichette is the most expendable piece which is why it make sense to try and move him during the off-season.
