Blue Jays announce a couple surprising roster transactions

The Blue Jays announced some massive roster transaction yesterday that will see second baseman Cavan Biggio DFA'd and Spencer Horowitz called up.
Biggio has been designated for assignment in Buffalo due to inconsistency at the plate with a .200 batting average despite having a solid season on defense plus he still has a .323 OBP.
ROSTER MOVES:
INF Spencer Horwitz recalled from Triple-A and will be active for tonight's game
UTIL Cavan Biggio has been designated for assignment

While Spencer Horowitz has been deserving of a call up after having an incredible season in Triple-A so far, fans do not understand sending Biggio down for assignment.
Cavan Biggio????
This team has no idea what its doing.
More like, "Roster Mistakes."
Worst decision this franchise has ever made. Cavan Biggio will haunt you for the rest of his career.
Now that Biggio is DFA'd, the Jays have 7 days to bring him back to the 40 man roster of he will be picked up by another team.
