50/50 Watch: Shohei Ohtani inches closer to MLB history with 3 steals against the Diamondbacks
When Shohei Ohtani became the fastest player in MLB history to reach 40 home runs and 40 RBI's, the only acceptable follow up question is to see if he can be the first ever to join the 50/50 club, and he i sinching closer every game that goes by.
In the yesterdays win for the Dodgers over the Diamondbacks, Ohtani collected 3 stolen bases to bring his stolen base total to 46.
«After winning the first two games but dropping the third, being able to come back to win this one is a huge win,» Ohtani said via interpreter Will Ireton. «And obviously against a division rival is a big deal.»

With 24 games left in the regular season, it seems like it is a full guarantee that Ohtani becomes the inaugural member of the 50/50 club. He only needs 4 stolen bases and 6 home runs to do it, and at this pace, it is a lock.
Do you think Shohei Ohtani will be the first ever player to join the 50/50 club?
