With Trevor Bauer willing to play for league minimum, the Toronto Blue Jays should really be considering signing Cy Young Winner Trevor Bauer after he dominates and has a historical season pitching in Mexico.

Bauer proved himself to the baseball world that he is willing and able to return to the MLB and compete for a Cy Young as he is in the prime of his career. This season with the Diablos Rojos del México, he pitched 83.1 innings, earning a 2.48 ERA, striking out 120 batter with a WHIP of 1.04.
The Diablos also won the LMB Championship where he pitched out of his mind where he achieved a 1.67 ERA, 32 K's and a 0.85 WHIP in 27.0 innings. He was named an All-Star and also broke the leagues single-game strike out record with 19.
This is what Bauer had to say about doing anyting he can to get back to the MLB.
"I mean, if you think about it, I should have the opportunity to sign with a big league team," Bauer said (per ESPN). "I'm just asking for the league minimum, so it's not a money thing. I've served my suspension twice over. I've been cleared of everything in the legal system. If you think about it logically, there's really no reason I shouldn't have a job. But I don't. So it is what it is. We'll see how it plays out. I don't want to predict the future. We'll see."

With that in mind, the Blue Jays should seriously consider signing him as he has the ability to be a Cy Young award winner once again with out taking any risk.
