Trade talks are heating up and fans do not want Atkins in charge of making moves

The Blue Jays currently sit in last place of the AL East division and if they continue at this rate, they will likely be sellers at this year's deadline.
If this ends up being the case, fans will likely see a lot of big moves made as this roster cannot seem to win and they need to begin rebuilding. Many fans online worry that if this ends up being the case, Atkins will be making these moves that will hurt the team in the long run. They do not want him in charge of putting together trades that will see Vladdy and Bo leave Toronto.
Under no circumstances should Ross Atkins be the one selling off assets at this deadline. He has completely destroyed this team. Congrats to him and his pathetic wild card banners hanging at Rogers centre. Click is a WS winning gm, let him run this deadline. #TipYourCap
Atkins has made a lot of questionable moves as the Blue Jays GM such as focusing on Ohtani last summer and missing out on other crucial signings which led to Toronto not adding any big hitters in the off-season.
Hopefully either the Jays step up their game big time and are able to somehow make the playoffs or ownership gets rids on Atkins prior to the deadline so that he is not in charge of making these moves.
