MLB insider Ken Rosenthal stated that free agent Teoscar Hernandez' best landing spot in free agency should be the Toronto Blue Jays.

The Blue Jays are in need of an outfielder and are hoping to bring one in that could add to their offense which is why Hernandez makes a ton of sense for them as well if they are unable to land Soto.

Things between the Blue Jays and Teoscar Hernandez are heating up

The Blue Jays seem to be all in on trying to land Juan Soto but if they end up missing out on him, an incredible second option would be going after their former outfielder in Hernandez who would cost a lot less.
If the Blue Jays were to miss out on Soto, it would make sense to still add more pop to the outfield through free agency. Because of this, The Athletic's Ken Rosenthal said that the Blue Jays would be a "logical destination" for Los Angeles Dodgers All-Star Teoscar Hernández if he doesn't re-sign with the World Series champions. -McAvoy<

Hernandez has mentioned that his first choice would be to return to Los Angeles to play for the Dodgers but with all their big signings this winter such as Blake Snell and their hopes with Soto, they might end up letting Hernandez go.
"If Hernández somehow does not land back with the Dodgers, the Blue Jays might be his most logical destination," Rosenthal said. "The Jays never should have traded Hernández to the Seattle Mariners two years ago for reliever Erik Swanson and pitching prospect Adam Macko. Re-signing him could be a major step toward the Jays retaining Vladimir Guerrero Jr., with whom Hernández is very close."

The Blue Jays would be a great fit for Hernandez since he would take on a big role as one of their best hitters and one of their top outfielders while also returning to a team that he played with foo 6 years.
The Blue Jays would not only benefit from Hernandez' play but from his cost as well as the he is expected to sign a three year deal worth around $71 million which is a great price for what he brings to the table.
