The Toronto Blue Jays Anthony Santander speaks to the media for the first time making interesting comments

The Toronto Blue Jays just signed free agent Anthony Santander to a massive five year contract which he officially signed yesterday and finally spoke to the media for the first time.
The Blue Jays announced their biggest signing of the past few off-seasons with their signing of Anthony Santander to a five year contract worth $92.5 million with an average salary of $18.5 million per season.

The Blue Jays officially signed Santander to his contract yesterday and had him speak to the Toronto media for the first time in which he was asked about his role on the team and his hopes for the future.
Santander stated that he is excited to get things going with the Blue Jays and even spoke of the goal on winning a championship with Toronto.

When asked about his role with the team, Santander stated that he is ready to play whenever they need him, right field, left field, first or even designated hitter which shows how much of a team player he is.
Anthony Santander says he's flexible as far as where the Blue Jays use him on the field.
"I'm gonna play where the skipper's going to need me ... right field, left field, first base, DH."

According to Santander he had been hearing about the Blue Jays since the first day of free agency and when speaking with players like Vladimir Guerrero Jr and Alek Manoah, he knew it would be a good fit.
