Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Max Scherzer has been dealing with a thumb injury fora couple weeks but it looks like he is good to go as the Blue Jays announce when he will start his first game for Toronto.

The Blue Jays are set to kick off their season their season tomorrow at the Rogers Centre against the Baltimore Orioles as Jose Berrios will once again be on the mound for Opening Day.
According to reports, Kevin Gausman will get game 2 on Friday night followed by Scherzer on Saturday as he will make his debut for the Blue Jays in Toronto at the Rogers Centre.

Scherzer will face the Baltimore Orioles in the third of the four-game series to open the regular season. -Valdez
There are a lot of new additions that the Blue Jays are excited for but none more than Scherzer as they will likely be quite the ovation on Saturday when he take the mound for the first time.
Despite dealing with a thumb injury in camp, Scherzer has looked phenomenal on the mound for Toronto as he has been arguably their best pitcher which is saying a lot because everyone seems to be playing well right now.
