It is no secret the Blue Jays had an underwhelming 2023 season which was followed up by a terrible off-season. Management only seemed to have signed players approaching the end of their career and now with multiple injuries across the board and a tough schedule to start the season it will be hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel for most fans.

The Toronto Blue Jays Have a Difficult Road Ahead
The Blue Jays had a let down of a 2023 season that was followed by a disastrous off-season.
Management only seemed to have signed aging players at the end of their careers with players like Votto and Turner. To add to that, the players will be starting their season on a tough schedule facing the Rays, Astros and Yankees while playing their first home game on the 12th in a renovated Rogers Centre that they will not have much time to familiarize themselves to.
As far as injuries go, the lineup is filled with them with Kevin Gausman likely to miss at least a few starts if not more. Alex Manoah's injury will have him sidelined for the start of the season as well and their starting catching is set to miss at least a few weeks.
It's up to Blue Jays players to overcome challenges created by front office and ownership, from @longleysunsport
The results of the beginning of the season will truly come down to how the players decide to step up to the plate and handle to unfortunate hand they have been dealt. Fans still have to wait 10 days to see how things playout.
