George Springer has been having by far the worst season of his career and despite his struggles will likely be getting more playing time.
Fans have been hoping that management would be cutting Springer's playing time but after Varsho going down yesterday, it looks like he will not be getting benched anytime soon.
After going 0-for-3 with a walk today, #Bluejays George Springer has a .566 OPS for the season.
That's dead last among qualified hitters in #MLB.
But with Daulton Varsho getting hurt today, it's going to be tough to take Springer out of the lineup.
Springer currently has a .566 OPS on the season which is currently the worst in the league among qualifying hitters.
