Devastating news has surfaced from the Atlanta braves as their former NL MVP star hitter Ronald Acuna Jr.. Will be missing the remainder of the MLB season with a fully torn ACL.

«I don't feel that painful, any pop or anything. Don't think it's that bad,» Acua mentioned during media availability."

The injury was sustained during last sundays 8-1 victory over the Pittsburgh pirates during Acuna's lead off double. The routine play play took a turn for the worse as Acuna dashed for third base, where his left knee is seen clearly giving out. Sources initially speculated the injury as general soreness, later, an official MRI revealed the severity of the injury and has been officially confirmed as a left anterior cruciate ligament tear.
This season, Acuna has managed a .250 batting average with a total of 4 home runs in 49 MLB games. As of now, there are no details as to when the surgery will happen nor any confirmation as to when Acuna jr. will return to play. This surely is disappointing news for MLB and Braves enthusiasts around the league. Hopefully Acuna jr. will make a speedy and timely recovery.
