White making a case as to having a full time roster spot if he continues to play like this.
White has spent the majority of his time as Blue Jay injured unfortunately not allowing fans to see what he is truly made of.
White and Alex De Jesus were traded to the Toronto Blue Jays from the Dodgers in return for Nick Frasso and Moises Brito.
At the start of the 2023 season, White was placed on the injured list due to right elbow inflammation. Following rehabilitation periods with the Dunedin Blue Jays and Buffalo Bisons, he developed shoulder fatigue and was subsequently moved to the 60-day injured list. White returned to action on June 9 but was designated for assignment a few weeks later after the Blue Jays acquired Jordan Hicks from the St. Louis Cardinals. He passed through waivers and was then sent outright to Triple-A Buffalo.
Late into 2023, the Blue Jays reinstated White to their 40-man roster to prevent him from opting for minor league free agency.
