Former Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Teoscar Hernandez is now a free agent and has now been linked to the Boston Red Sox who are pushing to sign him.
Hernandez is coming off an unbelievable season with the Dodgers as he won a World Series and put up an impressive 33 homeruns with 99 RBIs in 154 games while playing incredibly well in the playoffs.
Boston Red Sox are very interest in signing outfielder Teoscar Hernandez
But there's another possible destination, according to MLB.com's Mark Feinsand, who listed Hernández as No. 15 in his recent ranking of top free agents. Along with the Atlanta Braves and Dodgers, Feinsand includes the Boston Red Sox as a fit. -Fisher
Fans have been hoping for a reunion with Hernandez since they never wanted him to be traded away back in 2022 and since he became a free agent, they have been hoping he would return to Toronto since he is exactly what they are looking for.
If Hernandez does not end up in Toronto next season fans will be upset but if he ends up on the Red Sox, this will crush fans since Hernandez has always been very loved by the fans in Toronto even after he was traded.
Hopefully he does not end up in Boston but it looks like he would be a great fit since they are looking for an outfielder that could hit especially since Tyler O'Neill will probably not be returning to Boston.
